Noah Knauf, born in Cologne, attended elementary school and junior high school there and then went to the Hermann-Lietz School on the island of Spiekeroog, where he gained his high school diploma with majors in history, biology and politics. Following that, he decided to to pursue his musical interests during a cultural volunteer year. As he plays several intruments himself and is interested in various stilistic genres of music and their history, the Brahms-Institut Lübeck was an obvious match. Since September 2023, Noah Knauf has been taking on a variety of tasks and assisting in both organizational and scientific areas. He also sees this as an opportunity for orientation for possible future studies in the field of musicology.
